Police have arrested five men and three women and seized drugs with a street value of £15,000 during an operation in Swansea, held on Wednesday 6th May.
Officers attended the Clifton Row area of the city where they arrested a man on suspicion of drugs offences.
A search of a house resulted in two women being arrested and a quantity of heroin and crack cocaine being recovered.
A further search of a nearby property led to the arrest of four men and a woman from the London area on suspicion of drugs offences.
They were taken to Swansea Central Police Station and five of the men and a woman were charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
They were due to appear at Swansea Magistrates Court this morning.
A man and a woman are on police bail while the investigation continues.
